Shipping and Returns
Bulk Products
There are no exchanges or returns on any of the bulk products, either picked up or delivered. All bulk sales are final. This includes, but is not limited to, all soils, sands, aggregates, stones, and mulches.
In-Store Purchases
30-Day Return. Any items purchased in store may be returned or exchanged within 30 days, provided they are in original condition and packaging and accompanied by a receipt (some restrictions apply to specific products. See in-store.) Any refund will be made in the original form of payment, however cash refunds will only occur on the original purchase date. Hand tools including but not limited to shovels, pruners, rakes, and weeders must be unused and undamaged.
Delivery Policy
Scheduled Delivery Timing

A date and time for delivery will be organized, usually with a 1-hour window provided. If the delivery truck will be outside of this time window, PLS will call and inform the customer.
Delivery Pricing

Deliveries are priced based on location in “flat rate” zones or “hourly” zones, with prices varying depending on the truck used for the delivery.

Hourly rates begin upon loading of the truck and end upon return of the truck to the PLS yard, including delays resulting from loading in the yard, traffic, and/or necessary detours.
Materials & Quantity

The Customer assumes responsibility for ensuring the correct material and quantity is ordered and acceptable to their requirements.
Dumping Location

Drivers are not permitted to drive trucks offroad or onto otherwise unsuitable locations under any circumstances (including but not limited to fields, grass, loose soil, or uncompacted gravel). Dumping locations must be on paved or solid surfaces.
- Dumping location must be free of overhead obstructions and not of an excessive slope.

If a suitable dumping location cannot be agreed upon by the driver and Customer, the Customer understands they remain liable for the delivery costs and associated fees, however materials can be refunded to the Customer upon request.
Delivery of Slate, Pavers, and Other Items

The delivery of slate, pavers, and other smaller miscellaneous items is limited to a small quantity and weight of individual pieces, as determined at the discretion of PLS and the driver.

The Driver will only move slate and pavers alongside the road or driveway close to the delivery truck and will not move these materials to a significantly different location at the delivery address.
